UAP Hearing

On July 26th, 2023, the Committee on Oversight and Accountability held a Congressional Hearing titled "Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Implications on National Security, Public Safety, and Government Transparency." During the hearing, Committee members questioned Ryan Graves (an Executive Director at Americans for Safe Aerospace), Retired US Navy Commander David Fravor, and David Grusch (a former member of the DOD's Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Task Force). During the hearing, David Fravor and Ryan Graves discussed their experiences witnessing UAPs. However, one of the most notable claims made during the hearing was that "non-human biologics" were discovered and are in possession of the government (GOP Oversight, 2023, 2:06:41). However, Grusch conceded that this "was the assessment of people with direct knowledge on the program I talked to that are currently still on the program." However, as Grusch does not have "direct knowledge" of this, the credibility of this account is uncertain. Hopefully, more government disclosure and study will provide the public with more information about what UAPs, where UAPs come from, and what else the government might be concealing from the public.
